The Urban Land Institute (ULI) Report
The mission of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) is to provide leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide.
In 2011, ULI was asked by the City of Pasadena to make recommendations on how the City could generate revenues from users of the Central Arroyo in order to maintain and enhance their experience without displacement and adverse affects on the surrounding residential neighborhoods.
The ULI panel produced a wide-ranging critique of the Central Arroyo, including its current management and physical status, and provided a wide-range of constructive recommendations, including the proposal for a Central Arroyo Conservancy that is strongly supported by LVAA.
