Annual Picnic in the Park
On Sunday, October 3, 2010, over 400 neighbors gathered at Linda Vista Park for the annual "Picnic in the Park," sponsored by the Linda Vista~Annandale Association and Pasadena City Councilmember Steve Madison (District 6).
Many shared the day with neighbors and friends by bringing their own lunches or purchasing a burger from the In-N-Out Burger® truck.
Community participants included the City of Pasadena Fire Department, City of Pasadena Police Department, the Linda Vista Branch Library, the Rose Bowl Operating Committee, the Glendale Humane Society, the Armory Center for the Arts, and Art Center College of Design.
The Linda Vista Children's Center (formerly All Saints Children's Center) held an Open House and the neighborhood heard from Councilmember Steve Madison and newly-appointed Pasadena Police Chief, Philip Sanchez. The smallest of neighbors even received a professional dance lesson.
